Sick Day Today

This is as real as it gets.

I have POTs & chronic illnesses.

When I have a period,

I faint more often.

Today I am struggling with staying conscious and have had to miss work because of it. The thing is, I am privileged enough to still have my job despite this. So many of us are not as lucky, and disability benefits are not enough to live on by a mile.

Making our world more accessible is a necessity,

not a privilege or a handout.

It is a human right.

Description: A photo of Rachael Woodard wearing a Grey pullover with messy hair and a slightly bewildered expression, with the words “Sick Day” to the right in a bright and fancy font, and the words above in this description on the right in white on a black background.
